Ansel Elgort, the eminent American actor, musician, and disc jockey, was born on March 14th, 1994, to Grethe Barrett Holby and Arthur Elgort. The youngest of their progeny, Ansel’s inclination towards performing arts emerged at the tender age of 12, impelling him to register for acting lessons. His training resulted in a successful foray into the realm of professional theatre, and he debuted on the silver screen in 2013 with his portrayal of the character Tommy Ross in the movie Carrie. In the following year, Ansel’s talent landed him the role of Caleb Prior in the film Divergent. He garnered acclaim and appreciation for his performance, which opened doors for him to act in several other films, including The Fault in Our Stars, Paper Towns, The Divergent Series, and Men, Women & Children.
